The day began with an informative address by Mr. Uthone, who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and the global significance of World Environment Day. Following the opening remarks, participants were divided into groups and engaged in large-scale tree planting activities at three key locations in the village: the village hall, the community market, and the agricultural demonstration center.
After the tree planting, participants joined hands to clean up the village, collecting litter from public spaces while promoting awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Villagers were encouraged to take an active role in preserving their natural surroundings for future generations.
The second half of the event celebrated international Children’s Day. Staff from the Huayhoy Health Center, in collaboration with NT1PC’s Senior Health and Education Officer, prepared rice porridge and distributed gifts to the children, bringing joy and smiles to the youngest members of the community.
This event underscores NT1PC’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. By fostering collaboration with local residents, NT1PC continues to build a strong and sustainable relationship with its target community.
